民聯簡介
中國民主團結聯盟（簡稱中國民聯或民聯）於1983年在紐約成立。它是由旅居海外的華人學者和留學生創建的第一個以推動中國大陸政治民主化為目標的全球性海外中國民主運動/反對派組織，在北美、亞太、澳洲和歐洲建有分支部機構。曾在海內外有著廣泛的影響，亦有當今「興中會」之稱。其前身為王炳章博士創建的《中國之春》運動。
中國民聯的創始人王炳章博士於2001年6月在越南被中共國安綁架回中國大陸，並被判終身監禁，一直關押在廣東韶關監獄。
中國民聯的歷任主席有王炳章、胡平、于大海、吳方城、徐水良、莫逢傑、薛偉等，現任主席為澳大利亞的鍾錦江博士。

Chinese Alliance for Democracy (CAD) is the first overseas organization of China's pro-democracy movement. It was established in December 1983 by Dr Bingzhang Wang and other overseas students and scholars in New York. CAD is a globe organization. The headquarter office usually was in New York, It is in Sydney now as Dr Jin Jiang ZHONG was elected the Chairman the CAD in 2015.
